    a conversation between
    Heather Love & Karin Michalski

With her book Feeling Backward: Loss and the Politics of Queer History (Harvard University Press, 2009) Heather Love created an inspiring connection between affect politics and temporalities that became especially important for the analysis of queer politics.
The following conversation takes a closer look at her current research projects and on how politics of affect and emotion have an impact on her work as a queer scholar and teacher - not only as tools for analysis but also as a social practice that seeks connections between individual and social experiences and suggests possible political alliances through reconsidering stigma.
